2025

In collaboration with Palazzo Falson, ICOM-Malta hosted a Christmas get-together for its members, celebrating 2025 and looking ahead to the new year. The event featured a lecture by Chiara Cecalupo (Department of Classics and Archaeology, University of Malta) titled The Impact of Religious Illiteracy on Museum Communications. The lecture explored how traditional approaches to interpreting religious content are increasingly challenged by today’s diverse museum audiences, and presented new strategies for communicating Europe’s deeply religious heritage to a global public.
